Tennis coaching
for body and mind.

Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or returning to the game, my goal is to help you improve in a supportive environment where tennis becomes one of the best hours of your week.

Hi, I'm Tamás.
I'm a certified tennis coach with over 10 years of experience and a club-level competitive background. Before becoming a full-time coach, I spent a decade working in the corporate world. Throughout those years, tennis remained my constant, a place for movement, focus, challenge, and connection.Over time, I realised that tennis is much more than improving your technique. It is a way to develop confidence, resilience, and a stronger connection with yourself.
That's why I created Budapest Tennis Therapy.
Tennis does not replace professional therapy. However, stepping onto the court provides many things we often need in modern life: movement, focus, challenge, connection, and moments of complete presence. My goal is simple: to help people become better tennis players in a calm, supportive environment where improvement and enjoyment go hand in hand.
A Different Approach to Tennis
Tennis is not only about hitting better shots. It is about building confidence, developing awareness, and creating a positive relationship with movement.

Fun comes first.
Improvement lasts longer when you genuinely enjoy learning.
Movement is medicine.
Tennis won't solve every problem, but it can make life healthier, calmer, and more enjoyable.
Confidence can be trained.
Every player deserves an environment where it is safe to make mistakes, learn, and improve.
Simple beats complicated.
Clear instruction and focused practice are more effective than endless technical details.
Consistency beats intensity.
Small improvements repeated over time create lasting results.
On the photo above, two players are playing Cone Switch, a tag game we use during lessons. It demonstrates that developing as a tennis player isn't only about hitting balls, movement, coordination, decision-making, and having fun are just as important.
Private Coaching
The fastest way to improve.
Private coaching gives you maximum attention, repetition, and feedback.
Each session is tailored to your level, goals, and learning style.
We combine "Consistency Practice" to build reliable technique through repetition,
rhythm, movement, and focused practice with "Variety Practice" using games,
rally challenges, and match-like situations to help you apply skills confidently.
Coaching fee: 10,000 HUF / 60 minutes
Court fee is paid separately by player.

Group Coaching
Tennis is meant to be shared.
Group coaching improves your technique while creating realistic rally situations,
games, and match-like challenges. Training with others creates extra motivation,
friendly competition, and enjoyment. The same ~50% Consistency Practice and
50% Variety Practice approach is used, combining focused improvement with
fun and engaging exercises.
Coaching fee: 5,000 HUF / 60 minutes per person
Court fee is paid separately by players.

What does "Tennis Therapy" mean?

Most lessons take place at Marczibányi Sportcentrum, with additional coaching available at Szépvölgyi Teniszcentrum, BME Sporttelep, Budapest Tenisz Centrum, and Városmajori Tenisz Klub depending on your preferred location and court availability.
